In Loving Memory of Diane Decker 1947-2010

Dear Graphco Coworkers, Vendors, Customers and Friends,

It is with tremendous sadness that I must inform you that our dear friend, coworker and colleague Diane Decker has passed away. She was with all the people she loved as she left this world and her family will miss her more than words can express. There will also be a huge void here at Graphco as we all must say goodbye to one of the most kind, loyal and hardworking people most of us have ever known.

Diane joined Graphco in 1984 after her tenure with the Thiel and Thiel law firm, also of Cleveland. In talking with my Mom last night she reminded me that when Bill came home from work on Diane’s first day he said that she was a gift from on high, and this “gifted” status continued throughout her 26 years with our company.

As we all know Diane was full of energy and possessed a real drive for efficiency as the very first PC to come to Graphco was actually the Apple that Diane received for Christmas which she set up to not only speed correspondence but also to help track our service team without using the old service card system. It was not unusual to find Diane here at Graphco from early in the morning until late in the day as her sense of responsibility to our customers made extra time for special projects necessary.

Diane’s family was definitely the center of her life outside of work and she and her loving husband Tom were friends since the 7th grade. Tom Jr., Tracy and Brian’s pictures were always on her desk and if you asked how they were doing you better be prepared to hear, because she shared everything they were up to at any given time.

For all of us here at Graphco the loss of our Friend, Coworker, Sister, Mother and Confidant will be felt for many years to come and I hope you will all join us in observing Diane’s passing in the way that seems the most appropriate to you. As for me I’m going to say a prayer, cry a little and hope that she and Bill are sharing a good cup of coffee together right now.

With Fond Memories,

Chris Manley
